♪Serenade my Soul♫

When words forsake us and we need an outlet to let it all go, [most] of us turn to music.

Music is my escape from the grasps of reality… of everything really. I let my mind sail away, drifting in with the lyrics, and crashing out with my bottled up emotions. Laughter, tears, tantrums, dance parties – oh yeah, I’ve been there. Dance party for one, please!

Sometimes music is just that needed breath, my revitalization to face the world, especially on those days when I feel like I’m the only soldier on the battlefield. Withdrawing to the 11th floor library window, to my little brown rocking chair, I rock away, contemplating the riddles of life itself. The emotions, ♪my bottled emotions♪, slowly dissolve into twisting verses which I quickly scribble down, nodding my head to the beat of the latest tune…

We are calling to you.

They are almost like miniature, serenading conversations; like singing experiences that chronicle my awareness to my controlled feelings. Before I realize it, the music has cradled my mind, enveloping my thoughts before they could reestablish themselves in my brain. I am left feeling composed, calm, and at peace with myself…
